How to find the perfect swimsuit for your body type
"I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living."

This quote has been on my mind for a few weeks now, so much so that I put it on one of my most recent Instagram captions. Over the last few days, my body has been getting ourselves since hardly any tourists are here in May even though the weather is so warm most days. I also had an ( as it turned out ) great idea to use my

I have already shared most of my favorite swimsuit choices on my Instagram stories but today I wanted to also upload a quick guide to the most flattering bikinis for every body type rather than another shopping list.

Hourglass shape body
You are blessed with the perfect proportions and a variety of deferent styles will look great on you and compliment your curves.

Triangle (pear) shape body
Try adding more volume at the top to create a balance. Choose a statement bra with ruffles, tassels, or prints and a plain bikini bottom (preferably monochrome).

Inverted triangle shape body
Draw the attention and the bottom part of your body. Since you have a larger bust aria avoid staples bikini tops. Try to choose a monochrome bra and pair it up with a statement bikini bottom.

Rectangle shape body
High waisted bikini bottoms will help you give definition to your waist. It would be better not to mix and match with your body shape.

There is nothing more satisfying than a quick getaway once in a while, especially when the temperature feels just right throughout the day. The sun is definitely here to stay and I couldn't be more happy about it. To be completely honest with you guys it feels more like summer than spring lately. My off shoulder tops and denim shorts are already hanged in my closet and even though evenings are still a little chilly.

The usual style block

Hello lovelies! Please raise your hand if you have been through a style block over the last two weeks. I know most of you (and me of course) have been dealing with a few days of complete lack of inspiration from time to time. I have found myself unable to pick up an outfit so many times in the past , I truly stopped counting. Over the last 3-4 years I found quite a few different ways to overcome this block and spend as little time as possible to pick my daily outfits. Especially if you are like me , the kind of person that changes outfits more than once troughout the day you will surely find the tips bellow extremely useful.

As for me this week has been quite hectic so far. We had to spend quite a few hours in office waiting rooms, signing papers etc. Adult life is surely a blast most of the times ahahha. Anyways, I have also been obsessed with blazers lately, always trying to find new ways to style my small collection of blazers. I am currently thinking of buying a new one ,with a bright , bold statement color this time. As you can probably see on my blog and instagram I am going through a face of constantly wearing sneakers , even with vinyl skirts! Despite the fact that I do have a back disformation which I only found out a year ago after three days of constant, umber able pain and the feeling of loosing the movement in my legs . Turns out after a few x-rays and doctors appointments that I have Spondylolisthesis type 1 since birth and even though this does not effect my everyday life what so ever there might be rare, brief periods of time that I will experience severe pain as I did last year. Enough of the medican stuff!

1. Take quick mirror selfies to save your favorite outfits

There are days I feel delighted to try out new outfit combinations. Taking advantage of these hours of endless inspiration try to style as many looks as you can , take a selfie of each one of them and save them on your phone. This way you won't feel pressured to try on so many different looks every day just to find the best one for the occasion. You will already have a few well thought ideas to save you lots of time daily.

2.Follow instagram hashtags like #ootd #outfitpost

Another great way to receive a tone of daily fashion inspiration is to follow popular fashion hashtags of instagram. This way you will not only have everything you need right in your hands but also, you might find some amazing accounts you have never checked before.

 4.Polyvore 's secret usage

I have been using polyvore for a few years now, mainly to organize my daily outfits and store my inspiration for the days I feel unmotivated. I personally use this site a little differently than most people. Instead of taking the role of a styling, I don't choose my favorite pieces and style them to create a beautiful layout. Instead I search for specific pieces that I already own (eg H&M vinyl skirt) and create multiply looks with other designs that are already in my closet. If I am unable to find some of the clothes I own , I place something really similar instead. When I a done, I screen shot the set and save it on my phone for future reference.

5. FB chat stylists m.me/epytom

This is a service I came across very recently. In a few quick words Epytome is an artificial intelligence stylist in Facebook Messenger. All you have to do is answer a few questions that evolve around your style choices, favorite pieces of clothing etc and you will be receiving outfit suggestions according to your needs. You can set the settings to daily, weekly, twice a week etc mode and this chat will do all the work for you during the days you feel uninspired.

pros and cons of starting a blog
When blogging isn't just... blogging.

As I am writing these lines I am still not sure If I should publish this post or not. I have been thinking of sharing my opinion in the general subject of "blogging" for quite some time now but every time I tried something seemed to stop me from doing so.

Blogging is such a common thing these days. Everyone can freely have a platform to share their interests, emotions, opinions, etc and this, in my opinion, is something amazing. For me, blogging is liberating. Sitting in front of my computer, writing, thinking, and generally creating something from scratch makes every one of my days significantly better. I really enjoy hearing your opinions, thoughts, and constructive criticism. Blogging has definitely changed my life for the better. I am surely not the same person I was 4 years ago and yes, writing in this platform played a huge role in my transformation.

As in pretty much every job, hobby out there you can surely find the good and the bad, the two sides which will always battle one another.

New Opportunities. The one thing that surprised me the most about blogging is how many opportunities came along with it. Opportunities that certainly could never cross my way otherwise. I had the pleasure of working side by side with a few of my absolute favorite brands. Some of them I have been wearing since high school. The idea of being one of the "faces" of my favorite brands, even on social media, was so surreal for me (well, it still is.).

Always feeling challenged. Another thing that keeps me motivated every day even after all this time is the constant challenge blogging really is. There are so many new things I needed to learn and so many more I haven't discovered yet. I learned about photography, editing, writing, properly presenting myself online without being forced into faking but most importantly how difficult it really is to maintain a healthy balance between sharing and over-sharing your life online.

fashion blogging, is it worth it?
Communication skills. I will never stop feeling amazed every time I look back and remember how terrible my communication skills were 4-5 years ago. The constant need to socialize with people whether I am at an event or simply by writing emails back and forth really helped me overcome some negative habits. I am now more put-together with the way I speak, act, and respond. I can definitely cope with situations that would certainly give me anxiety and pure panic a few years ago.

Some people will try to take advantage of you/ aka be careful of who you work with. This was something I couldn't understand for a very long time. There were times when I felt more than unhappy with a deal and still went ahead and did my end of the bargain. I later understand how important it really is to be happy and 100% on board with a deal, sponsorship, or simple collaboration. There were surely a fair amount of people who contacted me for all the wrong reasons (this is a whole other subject tho). My point is, always be careful of who you associate your self with, do research, hear other people's opinions, trust your gut.

Constantly feeling I am not good enough. Another misstep of mine, especially during the last 2 years was all the time I spend comparing my content to everyone else's work. There will always be people that are doing better than you in some aspect of your life. Comparing someone else's looks, personality will only harm yourself and your overall mentality. I stopped trying to find all the possible flaws I could and started to focus on my own content and what I put out for the world to see.

We are almost at the end of 2017 , once again I am sitting here amazed by how fast time flies away. People say that when you feel this way it's mainly because you have such a great time that you barely notice the hours, days come and go. Even though this isn't always the case this year has been more than kind to me. This is the year that marked great changes, new life chapters, smart decisions , adventures but also a fair amount of regrets and disappointment . Surely you can't have the one without the other. Overall 2017 will definitely leave a mark on my mind for the years to come.

I could sit here and talk about all the positive and the negative events that occurred all day long but this would be an extremely long post. Instead I will focus on a few key moments that definitely added something extra to an already exciting period of m life. October was the month I took maybe the digest, scariest yet most exciting decision so far. I made my mind about finally taking a step forward and follow a dream I already had for a very long time but was too scared to go after it due to all the possible hardships and long, overwhelming that go with it. I decided to take my field of study to a whole new direction, miles away from fashion, styling etc. I do love everything fashion-related and will never stop doing what I love but I felt that this was the right time for a change. It is never "too late" to change your mind or better yet, explore new things that felt unreachable before. 2017 was a big reminder that we are all capable of so much more than I thought.

Notes to my future self

Don't accept any additional work when your days are already filled with engagements .

Have a few hours to yourself every single day

Keep chasing your new dreams even in the days you feel desperate

Never refuse a great opportunity to go out for a coffee or a drink with your friends

Keep your mind open to new ideas

Pay less attention to other's opinions about you

Search for your constant, daily inspiration in every place

Be less angry with the world around you

Go out with your mother for coffee at least once a month

Save up for traveling
Keep reminding yourself that it's ok not being able to do 100 things in 24 hours.

how to wear leather trousers in winter

If you are like me ,the Holiday season is one of your favorite times of year when it comes to browsing the internet. I find myself looking into a million different things (beauty, gifts, accessories, gift ideas, latest discounts ) on a daily , sometimes was more hours than my usual timetable. I don't know how to perfectly describe it but seems like this month is a month of inspiration, moodboards , countless new pinterest pins and wishlists.

You might have noticed it by now but without even noticing it I have uploaded way more blog posts over the period of November-December. Don't get me wrong, this blog is my baby. My only mean of expressing my feeling, ideas, emotions.

I have worked so hard on building an audience, shooting, writing ,editing and I have no intention of neglecting it. What's my point here? Most of the times I tend to (over) filter my posts , mainly my outfits, and take much time to decide what ,or if, a specific look will be published here. The looks that don't make the cut are uploaded on my instagram. But lately ,feels like I have so much more inspiration when it comes to styling, outfit combinations and shooting. Even though I spend a few months constantly working on my instagram feed it is time to work on my blog as well. Sometimes it is really hard to keep the balance between blogging and social media. The time needed for all these platforms is certainly overwhelming but It is safe to say that I once again found a program that works best for me and my everyday life.

From now on I am planning on adding some extra topics (categories if you will) that I have always been interested in but never published them out of fear that this blog will stop being only fashion-focused. As you grow older you discoverer so many passions I didn't know I even had and it is only fair to stay true to my self and to everyone who is reading these lines right now.

Honestly these boots go with pretty much everything in my closet right now. From chunky sweaters and denim to black button up blazers and little black dresses I can surely get the most out of them. There are so many different style and color variations available that everyone will surely be able to find the right pair for them. Take a look at the products bellow to get an idea.

Till this day I have never in my life met a single person that did not love the sales season. Even though this time of year is mainly focused around Black Friday and Cyber weekend shopping you are surely able to find some deals prior to these days. There are more than enough online shops out there that are offering some major deals as we speak and It would be a miss not to mention a few of them in this post.

Before I make a list of all the opportunities you can take advantage right now I will answer a question that not only I receive pretty frequently but also had myself for years and years in the past. What is the best shopping strategy when it comes to online sales? Which Items do I tend to pick up first? Honestly It is pretty hard not to add every single one of your favorite items in your cart during your shopping spree but let's think this through for a second. The goal of every shopping trip (online or not) is to fill "the wholes" you have in your wardrobe and then precede to purchase the trendiest seasonal items and statement pieces. Get your priorities straight! What to do you really need the most? A neutral colored coat that can be worn with the majority of your outfits from day to night or a pink colored coat which is certainly extremely beautiful but very hard to pair up with your every day looks?

Personally I always go for the items I pre-decided that I really need during this season like a new pair of white Adidas sneakers that will definitely keep me comfortable through the day. Right after I would really need a cozy, knitted sweater preferably in neutral tones so I can style it with pretty much every piece of clothing I have, another pair of skinny jeans cause one can never have too many of those and last but not least a black button up blazer .

Now that we got the basics (a.k.a the most important everyday key pieces) out of the way we should decide which trends really speak to every one of us. Blindly following every fashion trend out there is surely not the right way to go .Before you realize it you will have a wardrobe filled with un-coordinated items and the usual quote "I have nothing to wear!" on your mind pretty much every every day as you get ready . You really have to think this through before you add anything to your shopping cart

Are you fan of leather, vinyl and studs? Can you see yourself wearing a pair of leather studded boots or you prefer more neutral tones like gray and camel? Do you go out at night often? Then yes , you should order that sequin dress . Believe me, I know all about buying things on an impulse and never even remove the price tags as soon as you lay eyes of the item you thought you loved a few days prior online. Sales are amazing, as soon as you have a strategy instead of wasting your money on things you will never enjoy. Maybe this year try to have a color palette in your mind and follow the same shades while you are browsing though the deals of your favorite online shops. Make sure that the items you are picking up are not only able to be worn as an outfit combination but also bring your already existing wardrobe to mind and decide if the colors and patterns can be styled with the clothes you already own.

A/W 17 streetstyle trends

Autumn finally arrived in Greece earlier this week. For a moment it seemed like summer will last forever but even if a few days ago I was laying at the beach today I am wrapped up in my favorite hoodie next to a cup of warm (finally!) coffee and a cozy blanket. Now that the temperature problem has been fixed we are at last able to enjoy a few favorite a/w trends for this season. I like leather as much as the other person but soft leather is by far my favorite. Now that I think about it pretty much all of my (faux) leather pieces are laying more on the softer side. There is something unique about the way this type of leather "hugs" your body that I simply cannot get enough of.

Over the years I have been inspired to wear leather in dozens of different outfit combos but ultimate favorite would definitely the leather skirt-over the knee boots-fuzzy top one.
I can totally see why this seems like a pretty tricky trend to follow. Not everyone loves the movement of fabrics like this one , personally, even though hesitant at first, I grew to really like the cozy-statement look of feathers.

Except from the obvious (seem photo above) I though of incorporating this piece in a much more casual look with a pair of calf high leather boots and black, skinny jeans. I would also really love to try it with a pair white sneakers, black leather leggings and a mini, cross body bag in the near feature.

I feel like feather skirts are much more popular than tops these days. Maybe because it much easier to combine. Put on a cozy knit, your skirt and a pair of black pumps and you are ready to go. For the night out(which is my absolute favorite) though on a blazer with a sleeveless, slim fitted turtleneck and you are ready to go.

Over the last few years more and more brands dedicate their time to not only make people look beautiful but also feel the same way in the inside. Terms like "body positivity" and "diversity" slowly but staidly take their rightful place in the fashion industry. Brands and designers launch more and more collections to cover the needs of every person's body type and skin tone equally.

Women and men are encouraged everyday to show off their true selfs ,flaws and all included. The real version of you should not be hidden but embraced and we all have the power to make it happen. Big celebrities and social media starts have already showed of the real, un-photoshoped body and face in an effort make a statement against the discrimination in the fashion industry.Already we can see a significant change in shapes and sizes but there is still a long way to go.

#ICAN by American Eagle

American Eagle outfitters launched several campaigns to promote the message of self-love and self-acceptance, giving the chance to every woman and man to feel special while wearing their favorite, every designs. The #ICAN campaign ,started in 2017, encourages people to show what their are capable of doing, feel confident and bring their beautiful self forward.

Instead of sticking at the same old "zero size, flawless figure" stereotype , American Eagle featured people from different fields and backgrounds like the rapper Joey Bada$$, Basketball player Bonner Bolton , Model Amanda Steele and Halima Aden as the face of their new back to school and New American Jeans collections.

Jut by having a quick glimpse at AEO's newest campaign video on youtube you can clearly see that the fashion industry stereotypes are getting crushed day by day and this could not make us any happier .More realistic portrayals of beauty is something we all crave for. Shop AEO denim collection
7 denim jackets for every weather 7 denim jackets for every weather

Hello everyone! No matter what you see on my instagram feed I am now back from my summer holidays and as much as I would love to keep posting every sunkissed beach I visited this season , unfortunately I might have to accept the reality .As I mention almost every time I come back from a trip , I have a great difficulty to adapt once again and return to my daily routine.  I would like nothing more than to talk about my next bikini purchase but unfortunately, this post will not come soon. Instead it is time for another big wardrobe transition, and this time it will include denim.

1.The denim investment
If you love denim as much as I do you probably find yourself looking for new, affordable pieces to add to your already big collection, and even though this is a good idea , I personally believe that every wardrobe should have at least one " investment piece of denim ". Unlike many other clothes and accessories this type of jacket is something you will definitely get the most use out of it (+ it never goes out of fashion). I got my Paige Denim jacket (see above) about a year ago from Nordstrom and even if this particular design is currently sold out , there are dozens of similar pieces range starting from $100. Take a look at this light wash denim jacket for under $250.

2. Statement
Statement jackets (well, and bags) are the first thing that comes to my mind while I am looking for a great way to elevate a simple, casual look. This Frill jacket from Missguided is definitely something worth watching if you are looking for an affordable statement piece. I also came across a similar jacket with the one I wore on instagram a while back which you guys seemed to love at that time on Bloomingdale's on sale for $50 . Lastly the one that I will probably add to my cart very soon is this Asos long line jacket with the most gorgeous vintage vibe.

3. Best under $50
I know all about shopping on a budget and truthfully you will be able to find a few gems if you know where to look. Don't miss the opportunity to grab something that's on sale exactly the right moment. This Asos Denim Jacket is now on sale for $47 (original price $79). Another favorite of mine, this hooded denim jacket is now under $40 from Nordstrom Rack. Last but not least you can have this black oversized piece for $30 .

"Next time you think of beautiful things,
don't forget to count yourself in"

Lately I feel like the situation is completely out of hand. We are so consumed by the "perfect" image portraited by the media that we tent to forget the importance of actually learning how to accept our natural self.

Don't get me wrong , make up is a form of art and I am not hypocrite. I wear makeup most of the days, especially in the city where I feel like there is an unwritten rule about women wearing makeup 24/7. It does make you feel a lot more confident even if your skin is flawless by its nature. Yes, even when my skin was flawless I used to put on make up every single day at school, at uni , every day for years and years.

And yes! Lot's of women and girls put on makeup simply to impress others around them even if they are protesting otherwise. At the end no matter how hard we try to bake our face it's our personality that drives people towards or away from us. Not just men, every one.

I have spend so much time trying to make myself look better in any way that I ended up forgetting the importance of making myself feeling better as well. The images you see on magazines aren't real, the images you see on instagram , on all the social media aren't real! Everyone's bodies have flaws, stretchmarks, acne scars .EVERYONES(!). Reality is that some of them are better at hiding it than the rest of us.'
