Down the memory lane..

I remember myself been overly excited about the month of December since I was a child. Christmas presents and long walks in department store alleys were definitely two big reasons that can justify my obsession with this time of the year but there is definitely more to it. I mentally prepare myself (in a good way) for the coming of December almost a month prior to that and by the middle of November I my secret gift list is already been made, and chanced and re-made more than a few times. Honestly I love everything about December. The feeling of waking up every day excited to look out the window for any indication that snow is about to fall, the Christmas lights that decorate every street, every balcony, the smell of fresh baked cookies as you pass by the local patisserie (the list goes on and on.)

I have so many beautiful childhood memories from this season. Trying to put on all the ornaments was always a tricky situation since most of the times the little old me managed to break more than a few crystal balls as I was trying to hang them on our Christmas tree. My father always trying to get back from work extra early so we can go for a tone of funny activities in the city or take advantage of his and my mother's days off from work to go on mini trips to the countryside or most commonly to a sky resort so we can finally see the snow. The grand finale of each day like these ones is laying exhausted in my bed after consuming a great amount of cocoa or hot chocolate.

Simple moments like the the few I shared with you above are the real reason Christmas is by far my favorite Holiday. I can one hundred percent understand that not everyone has the opportunity to experience such moments and create so many unforgettable memories so instead of complaining about every mundane thing this December let's all focus on giving back the love we received .Let's try to create memories and make our loved ones smile with every given chance. Scroll down to find out a few simple ways that can light up even the most dull day of December and draw your Christmas spirit closer than ever.

1. The much needed playlist Even this might definitely sound to you like the biggest cliche of all times, for me , there is nothing more relaxing than working or relaxing at hone while listening to my all time favorite Christmas songs in the background. The light on the Christmas tree stay on all day so it is an extra bonus to the scene. I tried to create many playlists myself but I always end up listening to this youtube list, which is 3 hours long.White lights
This is the second year in the row I am following this idea, wish I could think this sooner. I drew inspiration from this pinterest image which is the curtest way to completely transform your bedroom decor for the Holidays for only a few dollars.Siting on the bed, reading a book in this atmosphere definitely lights up (ha!) your day.

The only blanket you will need this season
Have you heard of blankets with sleeves? If no, you are definitely missing out. During the Holidays most of us enjoy watching movies and tvseries more than usual and that requires something warm and cozy. I got my red, fuzzy blanket from a local store for only $12 last year and since then I never looked back.

Collecting Christmas mugs
Many of you commented on my Christmas mug on instagram , it is indeed the epitome of "Christmas vibes".I just can't imagine a sigle day of December without a mug like this one filled with delicious coffee. Again, I bought mine for $2 locally but I made a list of 3 extra festive mugs for under $9. ( 1. Cute Santa for $5.99 / 2 .Nightmare before Christmas sculpture mug for $8.99 / 3. My favorite mug for $4.99 )

Draw on every paper cup
Something as simple as that can not only help you relax but also create something beautiful. I have been doing that for years and especially for this month you can find all the inspiration you need just by looking around you. Here are a few of my favorite cup drawings ever. (Favorite 1 / Favorite 2 ).
